Michael founded MCA in 1988 as a solo venture and has since transformed it into a market leader, providing high-quality farm management advice to clients across southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.

He has achieved this through a business model characterised by sustained and gradual growth, underpinned by a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement through science-based innovation.

Michael's extensive experience with both irrigated and dryland broadacre cropping systems, combined with his deep understanding of agricultural business management, has strategically positioned MCA as a trusted provider of superior advice and a valued partner within the agricultural industry.

Michael grew up in the Blue Mountains and holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Sydney, as well as a Certificate in Rural Science (Cotton Production) from the University of New England. He enjoys managing his own farming enterprise and spending time with his wife, Jemma, and their two children.
