As the son of Paul Castor, Sam developed an early interest and passion for agriculture. Following a gap year in the agricultural sector, Sam joined MCA, initially working as a casual bug checker in cotton during the summer seasons.
In 2019, Sam graduated with a Bachelor of Rural Science from the University of New England, where he cultivated a keen interest in precision agriculture. Pursuing this passion, Sam has since become MCA's lead Precision Agriculture Consultant, dedicating over five years to the field.
He is deeply committed to collaborating with growers and utilising innovative technology to address longstanding issues within paddocks, resulting in significant improvements in yield and profitability for growers.
